The Palm 3 was in great condition - but no stylus. I'm a voting machine tech twice a year, so this stylus has voted repeatedly for every office in my county. Looks like some kind of metal in the middle. Yeah, like that's something to complain about. First, there's the weight - it's heavy enough that you know something is actually in your hand. It makes a nice thunk when it hits the floor so you immediately turn and pick it up. I bought my son a used Palm IIIc for his birthday because he LOVED my Palm Zire 31. GREAT for the Palm 3, but it won't reach the button in my Zire.
I don't know if I'll live long enough to wear out the tip on this stylus, but I am comforted by the fact that if I do, I can just screw on another one. Second - the reset pin. Unless the arthritis stops me. I actually ended up sticking this Palm 3 stylus in my Zire case and use it all the time. I got this 3-pack of Palm 3/4 styli and he and I have been fighting over them ever since. And, last, the replaceable & reset tips.
No cheap plastic stick here. If I forget it, I whine and whine about the cheapie that fits my Zire silo. Replaceable tip on one end, reset pin on the other with a pseudo-clip that stops it from rolling off your desk. This is an EXCELLENT stylus for ANY touchscreen.
It is the same as the original ones coming with Palm. I used it both on my Palm and GPS.
They were in perfect condition. Nicely price too
The styli that come packaged with ANY Palm handheld are the [not good] ones, no matter what. You really should save yourself from scratching your screen by buying these soft rubber tipped styli with the reset pin. In fact, with the Color IIIc screen, you can break your screen with that plastic tipped original one. Trust me you want this.
You won't be disappointed at all. (Increases screen life)-Compared to the price of a new palm screen (especially color) these are.
Amazon has a great price on these fine quality styi. After using the plastic m100 stylus, I upgraded to the Palm IIIc (nice), and ordered this along with it.
(Never search for something to hit that thing again).-A rubber tip absorbs impact of tapping your screen. -They have a firm, smooth, rubber head.
(The plastic heads can get a nich in them then scratch the screen unknowningly, these don't)-They are HEAVY so you can control input much easier.-The reset pin is a useful extra. CHEAP.Its simple, if you want a quality stylus that will take care of that delicate silk-screen, I recommend buying these.
I promise.
